The Big Ten has been interesting to watch all season. Outside of Ohio State, every team has been a surprise. Some of the best teams in the conference haven’t lived up to the hype. Michigan has been a dumpster fire. Penn State went from a conference contender to an utter disappointment. After missing multiple games with a COVID-19 outbreak, Wisconsin has lost two recent games.
On the other side of the coin, some weaker teams have surged this season. Northwestern has been surprisingly solid. Maryland has been competitive all year. Even after losing their starting quarterback, Indiana remains to be one of the best teams in the Big Ten.
Best Parlay Bets This Week
With all of this craziness, it has been an interesting year for betting on Big Ten games. With that in mind, let’s take a look at some of the key games this week as we try to form another Big Ten parlay. Which two bets should we add for our NCAAF picks?

The Biggest Rivalry in the Big Ten
Ohio State will be playing Michigan this Saturday, and they will be heavily favored on the NCAAF odds board. These teams have been on opposite trajectories this year, and Ohio State will always get up to play against the Wolverines. They will be looking to dominate this game, and they likely will.
Jim Harbaugh might be coaching for his job after a bad season, but his offense simply hasn’t lived up to the standard in Ann Arbor. Will that be enough for Michigan to overcome their shortcomings against the Buckeyes?
Unfortunately for the Wolverines, I doubt that they can keep this one close. They have historically struggled against rivals since Jim Harbaugh took over. That will likely continue in this game, and Ohio State has what it takes to cover the 28-point spread.
Wisconsin Badgers vs. Iowa Hawkeyes

Battle of Ranked Opponents
Iowa will play Wisconsin on Saturday, and it will give the Badgers a chance to turn their season around. After a strong start to the season, Wisconsin has missed games due to COVID-19. They came back with two losses against ranked opponents, and their offense struggled significantly.
However, they have what it takes to beat Iowa. They are better than their record shows. They have a strong defense, and the potential is there on offense. They just have to put it all together. Iowa has played well, but they haven’t been tested in over a month.
Heritage Sports has these odds as even. Your odds on the spread are essentially moneyline odds. This game will be interesting, but I lean towards picking Wisconsin. That being said, let’s see if there are better picks in the Big Ten before locking them into a parlay.

Can Maryland Turn Things Around?
The Terps had a strong start to the season, but they haven’t looked as good since missing games due to COVID-19. Taulia Tagovailoa took a step back, and he will need to fix that if he wants to dominate vs. Rutgers.
I expect Maryland to cover the small spread posted by sportsbooks in this game. However, the -290 moneyline is better for a parlay to lock. If I’m looking to string a few bets together, that is where I’m looking. Most of Maryland’s games have been close, and they could easily win this one by a touchdown or less. Just to be safe, focus on the moneyline here. It doesn’t have great value, but it can give a parlay a positive payout.

The other games in the Big Ten this week are interesting, but I want to focus on these three games. Indiana is still an unknown with their new quarterback, and Minnesota has been too much of a disappointment to focus on. They should be able to beat Nebraska, but their shortcomings have turned them into a massive underdog.
I’m going to parlay the Maryland moneyline and the Ohio State spread with Heritage Sports (visit our Heritage Sports Review). We’ve seen the craziness of this year, and some games have been canceled due to COVID-19. If Ohio State can’t play Michigan, either bet on Maryland to cover the spread or add Wisconsin to your parlay. I’m confident in all of those bets, but this parlay is my lock of the week. We’ll see how it does on Saturday.
